Spread Mod Podge over the plastic jar with a foam paint brush. Gently press the tissue paper squares into the glue on the jar. After you have covered the entire jar in tissue paper squares, go over the tissue paper on the jar with a thin layer of Mod Podge to seal it. Let the jar dry.
After the Mod Podge has dried, trim off any excess tissue paper squares on the base of the plastic jar. Spread any additional glue on loose ends from the tissue paper you trimmed.
Decorate the jar with mini foam letters to spell "Christ is our Light" or you can also use the faith foam sayings!
With a piecering tool, poke a hole on both sides of the jar. Take the ends of the chenille stems and push them through the holes. Fold the ends of the chenille stems up to secure them. Place the battery operated tea light in each jar! Shine Christ's light to those who need it most.
