Choose which printable you would like to use for your chore cards and print on card stock. There is a set of cute cleaning specific ones, or one with hipster animals. The cleaning ones are fantastic for small children still learning to read, and you can put simple instructions on them. My kids are a little older, so I went with hipster animals...because, CUTE! You can either write the jobs on like I did here, or you can open in your word processor and type out the jobs. Be specific when writing what you want to be done!

Once you have all the jobs written or typed out, it's time to trim them to size! Using your Fiskars Paper Trimmer. The white part of the printable is sized exactly to what it needs to be to fit inside the pouches, so just trim off the chevron print.

Insert chore cards into one of the badge holders, they should just slide right in!

Now, grab your hook magnets and your Sharpie. You can just assign each child a color, or you can label them with numbers (like I did), names or cute nicknames that will embarrass them to no end...you know, like "Snookums McCuteNose" ;). These magnets are incredibly strong and can hold quite a lot of weight, so if you are using these in your command center, you could also hang a chart, a calendar or their homework from them. Love these!

Now it's time to put it to work! Hang up your chore cards on your fridge, white board or any other place your kids will be able to see their chores each day. With chore cards this cute, your kids will magically start to LOVE doing their jobs...ha!
