Head to your local bakery or grocery store and look for a plain, undecorated cake. Even if there are some small decorations on it, don’t worry; those can be removed or covered up. We picked up this chocolate cake at our local grocery store and knew it would be the perfect canvas for our camping cake. Our cake had a simple flower made of icing on it, so we easily scooped it up and removed it with a spoon.

Now for the camping decorations! Grab a sugar ice cream cone and a piping bag filled with green frosting. Using a grass or star tip, pipe green frosting all the way around the ice cream cone. Start from the bottom working your way to the tip of the cone. Place the cone on top of the cake.

Take a pretzel stick and place it into the cake vertically. Grab one graham cracker and break it in half. Lean the pieces diagonally against the pretzel stick to form a tent shape.

Take a piece of yellow Rock Candy and cut or break it at the top so you have about a 1-inch piece of candy. Place it vertically into the cake. This is going to mimic the flame of a campfire!

Next, take a wafer roll and cut it into inch long pieces so they look like firewood. Place them around your Rock Candy flame.

Open a bag of Chocolate Rock Candy and form a circle around your flame and logs. These cute and edible rocks will look like a little camping fire pit!

Grab two toothpicks and place a miniature marshmallows on the end of each one. You can slightly roast these marshmallows for an extra detail as well! Add in some Camping Stickers on toothpicks and place them on the cake to finish off your cute-as-can be campsite cake!
