Draw or print a cactus image on a piece of paper and center it on top of the Wood Large Round Centerpiece to use as a template.

Hammer the wire nails on top of the image spacing them about 1/2 inch apart. I recommend starting at the top of your image and work your way around.

Tear away the paper leaving the cactus pattern on the wood slice.

Starting with the bottom nail, tie the end of the embossing Embroidery Floss around the nail and make a double knot.

Loop the Embroidery Floss around each nail, outlining the cactus design.

Once you have outlined the design, loop the Embroidery Floss around the nails in any pattern you want to fill in the cactus. Tie off the end with a double knot and trim the loose end.

Add the self-adhesive tissue flower from the White Favor Boxes to the top of the cactus.

Now proudly display your art during a party, in your craft room or on your fireplace mantle. This also makes a great hands-on activity during a party!
