Cut egg carton cups and trim down to make an evenly-sized cup. Cut as many cups as cacti you plan to make.
Cut brown felt into 2-by-4-inch strips. Cover one side with glue and roll lenthwise to get a 4-inch roll.
Glue the brown felt roll into the egg carton cup along the top. Make sure a little of the felt peaks above the top edge of the carton cup.
Try different combinations of green pom-poms to get different shaped cacti!
