Cut your dowel rod to your chosen length. I used an inexpensive hack saw from the hardware store to cut mine to size.

Select six feathers to go on the end of each arrow. Using your hot glue gun, stick on the longest feather in the middle of your dowel.

Using more glue, secure the rest of the feathers around the end of your dowel.

Wrap the gold leather cording six times around your dowel. Use the hot glue to secure the top and bottom of cord.

Start wrapping washi tape on your dowel rod to use to paint straight lines.

Paint! I liked having some thick and thin lines on mine.

Cut a triangle from the card stock to complete the other end of the arrow. Secure with hot glue.

I hung these up in the girl’s room in a row like pictured above. You can either use mini nails or blue poster putty to hang them in a row. I also love to place these in a large glass cylinder vase. The colorful feathers looks so amazing in the glass vase – such fun pops of color!

Be sure to check out our other Supply of the Month projects including these projects using the feather assortment.
