Begin by separating the inner and outer rings of the small embroidery hoops. Set the outer hoop aside to use for another craft. In a well-ventilated, protected space, spray paint the inner hoops gold, being sure to cover all of the inside and outside areas of each ring. Allow to dry completely. We used Rust-O-Leum Metallic Gold.

Next, trim the stem of your faux flower to the depth of the inside of the hoop, then secure it with hot glue. Any type of flower can be used here. We used anemones that we crafted out of crepe paper using the Cricut Maker and a tutorial by Lia Griffith.

Cut Silver Dollar Eucalyptus Garland and Frosted Greenery Stems into small bunches. Use hot glue to secure the eucalyptus behind the flower, then add frosted greenery pieces to give the arrangement dimension and visual interest.

Cut a length of ribbon to about 18 inches long. Tie it in a knot around the hoop, then slide the knot under the flower and out of sight. Use scissors to cut a diagonal edge on each end of the ribbon. When you put these gorgeous place cards at each place setting, the ribbon will flow down the plate and over the edge of the table creating a soft, delicate look.

Use scissors or a paper trimmer to cut white cardstock into 4.5" by 3/4" strips. Write each guest's name on a strip of the paper using a black permanent marker. Position the strip inside the hoop where you would like it to be placed, then use a pencil to trace the edge of the hoop. Use scissors to cut along the trace line, then hot glue the name tag to the back of the hoop.

These look gorgeous sitting atop White Plastic Dinner Plates with Gold Edging and even better with White Marble Beverage Napkins with Foil draping down the table underneath them. If you're wanting to create more of a rustic look be sure to wrap your table in Fadeless Weathered Wood Paper!
