Glue long lengths of different sizes and types of ribbon, lace and trim to the outer ring of a large embroidery hoop. For our seating chart, we chose pink 1 ½” satin ribbon to clip the names and gold sparkle ribbon, silver and pink satin ribbon and lace to add interest and texture.

Put the outer hoop aside and arrange different sizes and shapes of crochet doilies on top of the inner embroidery hoop ring. Use a needle and embroidery floss or thick cotton string to tie the ends of the doilies together.

Replace the outer embroidery hoop and tighten the hoop, lightly pulling the doilies taunt. Cut the excess doilies off the hoop and apply a line of hot glue onto the back of the hoop to hold in place.

Make a floral arrangement using real or silk flowers and glue or wire into place. What is nice about using silk flowers is that you can make this seating chart well ahead of your wedding and your flowers will still look fresh. If you are using real flowers, we would recommend crafting the hoop ahead of time and adding the fresh flowers the day before or day of the wedding.

Hand letter or print out the names and table numbers of your guests onto cardstock. Cut out and attach the names to the wide ribbons with mini wooden clothespins.

Not only will this Boho seating chart look fabulous at your wedding but just think of how cute it would look hanging in your new home together with the pictures from the wedding clipped to it.
