Start whipping up this layered dessert by baking the cupcakes per the directions on the back of the box. You can use any flavor of cupcakes you prefer, we opted for vanilla.

While the cupcakes are baking in the oven, start mixing up the brownie batter, then bake them per the directions on the back of the box in a mini muffin pan so they are the perfect bite size shape.

Now it is time to prep the icing. For this recipe you will need two different colors of icing, yellow and green. Mix up two batches of icing by splitting the frosting into two bowls and adding green food coloring to one bowl and yellow to the other. Add as much or as little food coloring as you like depending on how vibrant you want your frosting to turn out.

Once you have the two batches of frosting colored to your liking, begin to pipe the green icing onto the cupcake. We piped our icing to look like the leaves of a tree. Once your cupcake is full of icing, place a bite sized brownie on top to represent a birds nest.

Begin to pipe the yellow icing onto the brownie bird nest and then add three Speckled Malted Milk Chocolate Candy Eggs to the top. Place a 1st Tweet Birthday Cupcake Pick on the very top of your confectionery creation and wrap your cupcake tree with a 1st Tweet Birthday Cupcake Wrappers.

Create your adorable display! Start by painting the DIY Ceramic Mini Flowerpots blue. Then add 1st Tweet Party Confetti, Pastel Paper Pack and Lavender Caramel Balls Chocolate Candies.

Display your deliciously springy creation on your dessert buffet for guests to admire and enjoy at your Bird Themed Birthday Party!
