Start by covering the board with Fadeless Art Black Classic Dots Paper Roll. Layer your favorite borders using a stapler. I used the Loop-De- Loop, Pink Polka Dots, and Black & White Striped borders. Now it's time to add paper fans! I love to layer fans at the top to add dimension and to create an extra "pop!" I used paper fans in bright colors, yellow, and purple polka dots. Make sure to staple the paper fans together to ensure they look great for a long period of time.

Print out the free letters on white cardstock. To help make the title stand out, outline each letter with bright paper. Add the title to the center of the board. I like to use washi tape to attach the top of each letter to the board prior to stapling. This allows me to step back and check the alignment without making any holes!

Have students create a Thumbprint Bee Craft. Each craft comes individually wrapped with directions. I love to use these crafts as a quick assessment to see who is listening and following directions. Elmer's Glue will be needed to assemble the crafts.

Now it's time for students to do a little writing! Have a discussion over kindness and how we can model it in the classroom. I always make a quick list of student responses to help students who may struggle with spelling. Students will then write their response on the free printable.

Add the final touches to the board by attaching the bee crafts and student writing with a stapler. Now your board is complete and ready to help promote kindness in your classroom!
