Start your DIY backdrop and dessert table by laying out a Marvel Avengers Tablecloth on your table. You will want to open it so only the Avengers logo is showing so it serves as a wide table runner. Top the Marvel Avengers Tablecloth with a Black and White Striped Table Runner.

Next, start assembling the backdrop. Assemble a mix of red, blue, black and silver paper tissue fans. Begin arranging them on your wall using 3M strips or scotch tape. Be sure to arrange your tissue fans so there is an even balance of color and size. Don't be afraid to layer the fans – it adds great texture and color!

Now that the fans are arranged on the wall in a fun pattern, open up the Superhero Cityscape Archway and pull out only the cityscape buildings. You can save the other pieces for another day. Flank each side of the paper fan backdrop with a building and secure to the wall with 3M strips or tape.

Have our free printable Avengers logo printed out at your local office supply store to an 18x24 inch size. Lay it on top of a piece of gossamer from the Blue Gossamer Roll and cut out the shape. We found it easiest to tape the paper to the gossamer to hold it in place. Then, back your cutout with a piece of poster board or card stock so it is extra sturdy.

Use a few dots of hot glue to adhere your logo to the fan backdrop.

Now that the backdrop portion is complete, it's time to get started on some fun themed decor pieces! First up are some DIY cityscape buildings. Start by lightly sanding down an Unfinished Wood Planter Box.

Once sanded, give the Unfinished Wood Planter Box 2-3 coats of Red Acrylic Paint using a wide paintbrush.

While your building is drying, grab a piece of gray card stock from the Full Color Spectrum Paper Pack and cut 1" x 1" squares to use as windows for the buildings.

Using a dot of hot glue, begin adhering the paper windows to the painted building.

Once all the windows have been adhered to the building, it will be complete! Repeat these steps to create as many buildings as you would like for your table!

We wanted our sweet snacks to really stand out on the table, so a simple white cupcake stand was the perfect way to really let our Thor's Hammer Cupcakes shine! Assemble the cupcake stand per the instructions, and then add a bit of red Cotton Rickrack Trim around the outside of each level of the stand.

Bake up some of our Thor's Hammer Cupcakes and display them in black and white striped cupcake wrappers on your cupcake stand.

Now that the sweets are perfectly displayed, it's time to create some custom favor boxes. These boxes are adorable and take no time at all! Start by gathering up a paintbrush, white acrylic paint and some DIY Stars.

Paint the DIY Stars white and allow them to dry completely before moving on to the next step.

Once the DIY Stars are completely dry, assemble the red favor boxes and use a few dots of hot glue to adhere the painted stars to the favor boxes.

Lastly, print out our free printable and adhere it to the front of the painted star on the red favor boxes using a bit of hot glue.

Fill the 2 smallest Cityscape Candy Buckets with red tissue paper sheets and place them next to your DIY buildings on each end of the table.

Create a custom tassel garland for the front of your table by turning 3 individual tassel garlands into one! Simply pop the red tassels off of the garland (they are held on with staples and pop off very easily with a gentle tug) Then slide the silver tassels off of the garland. Now, grab the blue tassel garland and add the red tassels and silver tassels between each blue tassel by adhering them to the plastic garland with a dot of hot glue. Voila! A custom tassel garland! Using some tape, hang your custom garland on the front of the table.

Whip up some of our DIY Captain America Shield Party Favors and display them on the table.
