Begin by staining a DIY Wood Plank Sign in a warm tone. Use a sponge brush to apply the stain evenly across the sign going with the grain of the wood. Set the sign aside to dry.
Next, spell out the words "adventure awaits" using wood letters and give them each a coat of mint green paint.
Download the mountains templates here and print onto white cardstock. Trace and cut out one large mountain and two smaller mountains using yellow, grey and blue felt.
Next, cut the snowcaps from the mountain templates and trace them onto white felt. Cut them out and adhere to each of the mountains using tacky glue.
Once the stain on the sign has fully dried, use tacky glue to attach the mountains. Begin with the larger mountain in the center and add the two smaller ones on either side.
Now add the words "adventure awaits" to the sign. Center them over the mountains and secure using tacky glue.
Finally, display the Adventure Awaits Nursery Sign as part of the décor during the mama-to-be's Rustic Mountain Themed Baby Shower. Once the shower is over, send the sign home with the mama to decorate baby's nursery walls!
