Use a measuring spoon or scoop to fill a burlap favor bag with potting soil.
Place the sapling into the soil and close the bag tightly.
Add a length of black ribbon around the bag horizontally and glue in the back with hot glue.
Add a gold wax look "Thank You" seal, adhering to the front of the ribbon with a little dot of hot glue as well.
