First, create a neutral canvas by covering your table with a white table cover. Next, place a length of Kraft Paper Roll down the center of the table and then add Grey Gauze Table Runners across the width of the table, crossing over the top of the kraft paper table runner.

To complete your layered table runner look, place a White and Black Buffalo Plaid Table Runner on top of the gauze table runners, but laying the same direction as the kraft paper table runner. Now we get to add some gnomey accents!

Set a riser on the center of the table. Place a couple of 10" Tabletop Evergreen Trees on top of the riser, along with a cute DIY Mushroom and a DIY Ceramic Gnome that you've previously painted.

Run a frosted pine garland along the buffalo plaid table runner, tucking some of it underneath the riser. Tuck DIY mushrooms and Pinecone Votive Candle Holders into the garland on both sides of the riser.

To create festive place settings, put a Faux Acacia Wood Paper Charger at each seat. Cut two Value Silver-Dollar Eucalyptus Garlands into three sections each. Form each section into a little wreath and tape the ends together. Place each wreath on a Faux Acacia Wood Paper Charger and add a Buffalo Plaid Dinner Plate on top of the mini wreaths. Fold DIY Natural Tea Towels into thirds and tuck one end underneath each charger/plate stack. These will be used as napkins. Tuck a name into each Faux Birch Branch Place Card Holder, and them to the top of the plates, and voila! Your table is ready to welcome guests!

Every great place setting needs drinkware! To the upper right of each plate, add a Black Buffalo Plaid Insulated Coffee Paper Cup with Lid and a Gnome Ceramic Mug.

Don't forget the flatware! Place a Wooden Cutlery Set inside Buffalo Plaid Mini Stocking Ornaments and leave one at each place setting. What a cozy table we've created!

The Tree

Your gnome table looks fabulous, so now let's give your Christmas tree some gnome love! First, place a Buffalo Plaid Tree Skirt over your tree base and then wrap Buffalo Plaid Ribbon and Wide Natural Burlap around your tree to create a tree garland. Now we'll gnomify the tree. The easiest way to do this is by using the Gnome Christmas Tree Decorating Kit. It includes a gnome hat tree topper, gloves and a gnome nose.
