If you're planning to find out the gender of your baby around Halloween, what could be more fun than a "Witch Will It Be?" gender reveal party?! Share whether you will be expecting a little witch or a little wizard with family and friends at this sweet and spooky Halloween gender reveal.
The Decorations
This Halloween gender reveal party was dripping with black, purple and lime green decorations, witch hats, and wizard glasses. The backdrop started with a beautiful glitter witch silhouette sign that I hung on the wall with a Command® hook.
Lime green and purple tissue paper fans surrounded the sign to create a bright backdrop. The theme of the party, "Witch Will It Be? Witch or Wizard", was displayed on a square black and white letter board.
On the front of the party table was a super cute witch or wizard party garland. I created a step-by-step instructional post that includes how I made this DIY Witch or Wizard Party Garland. Check it out for all the details! I also loved the light-up purple witches broom that was front and center on the party table.
Hands down, my favorite Halloween party decoration at this gender reveal was the black lace spiderweb table runner. It is so delicate and gorgeous in person! This table runner will definitely be a staple in my Halloween decorating for years to come. I also loved the LED black drip candles that realistically flicker to set a spooky Halloween mood.
Throughout the party, I set out black witch hats and wizard glasses. During your party, invite guests to cast their vote for a little witch (girl) or little wizard (boy) by choosing to wear a hat or glasses around the party!
The Sorting Hat
On the party table, I displayed an elegant black and purple witch hat and a wizard hat centerpiece. The witch hat makes the perfect "sorting hat" that can reveal the gender of the baby. If you don't want to know ahead of time, ask your doctor to write down the gender of your baby and place it in an envelope. Put that envelope into the witch hat before the party. When it's time for the big reveal, take the envelope out of the sorting hat and read aloud - witch or wizard!
The Tableware
The new Goofy Ghouls tableware line was perfect for a Halloween gender reveal party. The fun, kid-friendly designs on the Goofy Ghouls paper dinner plates and Goofy Ghouls luncheon napkins went perfectly with my party theme.
The Party Food
A Witch Will It Be? gender reveal party must have these wickedly delicious witch hat cookies!
I put these simple witch hat cookies together using fudge striped cookies, chocolate kiss candies and green frosting. They were super easy to make and just too cute on my dessert table! I also served a pile of black and white whoopie pies on a black cake stand.
Popcorn was served in a lime green Goofy Ghouls plastic Halloween bowl for a salty snack.
After setting up your party the only thing left to do is let the sorting hat do its work and reveal whether the little one on-the-way is destined to be a witch or a wizard!
