What better way to celebrate the wine-loving bride in your life than with a Wine Inspired Bridal Shower? We created this vinyard-esque shower in honor of our bride who not only loves her hubby-to-be, but a nice glass of vino as well!
Setting the Scene When we began styling this Wine Inspired Bridal Shower, we knew we wanted to incorporate iconic wine colors; deep Burgundy, light and dark greens and then pops of gold and chalk elements for a chic and modern touch. Incorporating fresh flowers and grapes brought a bit of the vineyard inside!
The Table
Our tables were set with a white linen and then we used Maroon Costume Belts as table runners and then layered the Chalkboard Table Runner on top of that! Each place setting included a DIY cork place card atop a Burgundy Square Dinner Plate, Gold & White Wedding Dessert Plate and cork place mat. These place cards were beyond simple to create. We simply layerd varying kinds of card stock and then used the Chalk Marker to write "Cheers!" We cut a horizontal slit into the top of a Bottle Cork and gently set the place card in! How simple is that! Metallic Gold Forks, Spoons & Knives sat atop Burgundy Luncheon Napkins and Gold & White Striped Beverage Napkins. Each guest was also given a chalk dipped Clear Stemless Wine Glasses and a personalized chalk dipped Clear Stemless Wine Glass! This was such a fun and easy way to add a personal touch to our table! These also served as fabulous favors for all the bridal shower attendees! Our Centerpiece We wanted to continue the wine theme into our table centerpiece, so we incorporated Wine Bottle Vases and Bottle Corks in cute little ways throughout! We filled each Square Vase & Large Cylinder Vase with Bottle Corks before adding our fresh flowers. We also filled a few Square Vases with fresh red and green grapes. We loved the way it added a bit of color to the table! We also glued Bottle Corks to a few Frosted Wedding Votive Holders and added a sweet ribbon detail. We flanked either side with the table with Wine Bottle Vases that had Black Personalized Monogram Wine Bottle Labels. We loved the fact we could personalize these with the names of the future bride and groom and their upcoming wedding date! And of course, we included some DIY Unfinished Wood Chalkboards with a wine inspired quote, "You had me had Merlot".
Delicious Details
We served an array of yummy wine inspired treats including a cheese, crackers & blackberries, which we personalized simply by adding some chalkboard card stock to a piece of a Bottle Cork and sticking into a toothpick!
Chocolate, walnut covered grape clusters and our delicious Red Velvet Cake & Cream Dessert served in Plastic Wine Glasses were also a part of our buffet.
Each of these foods were served on DIY Unfinished Wood Plaques that we covered in chalkboard paint. We then wrote out the name of each food for our own little DIY menu trays!
We served a delicious, vanilla naked cake topped with Bottle Corks, grapes and a "Cheers" cake topper we made.
