It's the end of the homeschool year! Can you believe it? My kids have worked so hard this year and have grown in many areas. At the end of every homeschool year, we celebrate their growth and accomplishments with a party. This year we celebrated with a cactus-themed end of the homeschool year celebration because they are such a sharp bunch! We invited family, displayed their favorite pieces of work, enjoyed treats and had an awards ceremony!

I set up the treat table with a cactus theme and bright summer colors! These adorable Fiesta Flower Cactus Honeycomb Table Decorations and Neon Plastic Margarita Glasses were perfect accents on top of the Light-Blue Rectangle Plastic Tablecloth! The Fiesta Cactus Embossed Beverage Napkins really tied the look together. I hung a bright Tissue Paper Rainbow Fan Garland as the backdrop and placed the Small Neon Gift Bags on the table as well.

Treat time! We enjoyed these vibrantly colored cupcakes I got from a local bakery. Some of my kids like chocolate and others like vanilla, so I got both. This Footed Cake Stand worked perfectly to display them. My kids chose their favorite candies (Wonka Mix-Ups® Assorted Candy) that are in the Neon Plastic Margarita Glasses on the table. My kids were so excited to drink out of the extra Neon Plastic Margarita Glasses! They are so fun and versatile.

I displayed some of my children's favorite work from the year on this cactus-themed bulletin board. They each took turns presenting their chosen work to grandparents.
I love how this display turned out! Here's how I set it up. I started with the Eureka® Sharp Bunch Cactus Wide Bulletin Board Borders and layered them with Double-Sided Solid & Polka Dot Bulletin Board Borders - Hot Pink on Pacon® on Fadeless® Light Blue Bulletin Board Paper Roll. Then, I layered fans at the top. I like the layered look with multiple sizes. I start with the largest fan in the corners and then I layer smaller fans around it. I used Green and lime green, hot pink, and blue paper fans from Bright Tissue Hanging Fans Assortment. Once I finished the border, I added the title using Eureka® Sharp Bunch Cactus Bulletin Board Letters. (Tip: To get the letters straight, lay them out how you want them. Put painter's tape across the letters and tape them to the board. You can staple or tape them and remove the painter's tape without ripping the paper!) I loved the Fiesta Flower Cactus Honeycomb Table Decorations so much that I grabbed an extra set just for the bulletin board. I also added some adorable Eureka® Sharp Bunch Cactus Bulletin Board Cutouts to fill in the empty spaces. Finally, I hung my children's work on the Fiesta Memories Photo Hanging Clips. This bulletin board was super simple to make! You could do this any time of the year and have a rotating display of their favorite work.

We also had an award ceremony! Everyone sat in a chair watching and waiting excitedly, especially my children. I used these fun and unique End of Year Superlatives Certificates to highlight their exceptional achievements. As they accepted the awards, they beamed with pride and everyone clapped! I appreciated the selection of End of Year Superlatives Certificates available like "Wonderful Writer," "Superb Speaker," and "Astounding Attitude." They suited each of my children precisely.

My kids absolutely love crafts, so we had to add one to our end of the homeschool year celebration! These cute Cactus Suncatchers were fun and easy for everyone to do, even grandparents joined in. We used brightly colored 8-Color Neon Suncatcher Paint Pens and 16 Color Crayola® Washable Watercolors to color the cactus suncatchers. There were two dozen of these charming smiling cacti, enough for everyone to create a masterpiece to take home. Now, our windows are filled with bright cacti and rainbow colors!

At the end of the homeschool year celebration, I handed the children their goody bags. Inside of the Small Neon Gift Bags was a pair of Positive Sayings Sunglasses, 2021 Bright Bubble Bottles, some Wonka Mix-Ups® Assorted Candy, a Cactus Paddle Ball Game and Laminated Fun-Shaped Book Marks. They played with the Cactus Paddle Ball Games right away. This year's Sharp Bunch End of the Homeschool Year Celebration was a huge success! How ever you decide to celebrate the end of the homeschool year, make it a day they won't forget!
