Say hello to this absolutely adorable "Waddle it Be?" Penguin Gender Reveal...seriously the sweetest way to celebrate the unveiling of a baby's gender during winter! Full of fuzzy baby penguins and soft, snowy decor elements, this gender reveal party just may be the cutest we've seen! We've even designed a complete printable set full of everything you need to bring this snowy celebration to life. Get all of the details for this frosty fete below.

We began decorating for our Penguin Gender Reveal Party by creating a DIY Winter Snowflake Party Backdrop. Flowing White Voile Sheer Fabric draped behind our dessert table softened the look of the space, while Clear White String Lights filled the room with a magical glow.
White Tinsel Pom-Pom "snowballs" and DIY white cardstock snowflakes danced beneath a sky of beautiful white, chrome, light pink and light blue balloons to complete the snowy scene. We've put together a Winter Snowflake Party Backdrop tutorial that will help you recreate the entire look in your own space.

I designed an entire collection of "Waddle it Be?" Gender Reveal Printables to really tie the party space together, and all of the designs are free for you to download and use in your own party!
Elements of the printable pack include a super sweet penguin banner that adds an adorable decorative element to the front of the dessert table, precious penguin cupcake toppers, favor labels and a cake topper that really brings the party theme to life!

One of the most exciting things about a Gender Reveal Party (other than the big reveal) is that everyone can guess what gender they think baby will be. For our Penguin Gender Reveal, I thought it would be fun for guests to cast their vote with "snowballs." I put a dish full of Medium White Gumballs beside a printable "Waddle it Be?" sign displayed in a White Table Frame that invited guests to cast their vote by adding a snowball to containers labeled with "It's a Boy" and "It's a Girl" labels. It was so very cute!

A four-layer, gorgeous coconut cake served as the focal point of our dessert table, and the soft coconut flakes mimicked a mound of freshly fallen snow. Sugar-covered marshmallow snowflakes around the base of the cake glistened in the light, and could also be served as treats. Precious penguin cupcake toppers embellished powdered donut "snowballs" beautifully, and sat atop more snow, this time in the form of Craft Snow.

Glowing candles in Winter Wonderland Mercury Candle Holders added ambiance to our party and cast a cozy glow on the dessert table.
Fluffy miniature marshmallows inside Mini Plastic Pedestal Candy Containers played double-duty as both decor for the dessert table and as favors that the guests could take home. Snowflake Die-Cut Ribbon and a sweet little penguin label made the favors a perfect gift to match our theme. We displayed them on a pretty White Decorative Plastic Tray with Wavy Silver Edge, then covered the base of tray with more Craft Snow.

More balloons at the base of the dessert table helped create a visual transition to our dining table.

The place settings for our Penguin Gender Reveal were just precious! Dinner Plates with Silver Trim anchored each setting, and were topped with an unfolded Iridescent Snowflakes Beverage Napkin and a 7" Light Pink Paper Dessert Plate. Our printable plate decal was adhered to the pink plate with double-sided tape and made each place setting so darn sweet! Silvertone Hammered Cutlery complemented the gray tones in the decal design as well.

Winter Snowflake Plastic Mugs finished off each place setting beautifully. We created DIY Stir Sticks to tuck inside each mug using Iridescent Straws, White Tinsel Pom-Poms and our printable straw tags.

We arranged a White Feather Boa down the center of the table create a soft, snowy vibe. We added LED Warm White Mini String Lights amid the feathers to create a warm glow on the table. A Winter Wonderland Snowflake Tree served as our table's centerpiece while Iridescent Snowflake Christmas Ornaments and White Tinsel Pom-Poms were scattered around the table to complete the wintry tablescape.

Every gender reveal party needs a way to reveal the baby's gender, and for our party we created the cutest little "Arctic Mountain Peak" Gender Reveal Confetti Poppers. We used them as party decor until it was time for the big reveal. We displayed them down the center of the table by tucking the lollipop sticks inside clear and pink Bulb Shape Bud Vases. See the step-by-step tutorial to make your own "Arctic Mountain Peak" Gender Reveal Confetti Poppers here.

I hope these ideas have inspired you to host a "Waddle it Be" Penguin Gender Reveal for some parents-to-be that you love, and just in case you were wondering...our baby is a BOY!!!
