Vintage Floral Easter Tablescape

Vintage Floral Easter Tablescape

Easter is one of my favorite holidays to bring family together for a special meal and celebration. I have fond childhood memories of heading to my grandparents' house for a special Easter lunch along with my cousins, aunts and uncles, all dressed in our Sunday best. I love continuing the tradition with my own family, and creating a beautiful tablescape is one of my signature touches! This Vintage Floral Easter table look was so fun to put together. I incorporated lots of faux floral accents, a few sweet ceramic bunnies, and some disposable tableware to make clean-up a breeze!

The Table

To create this lush Easter table, I rounded up all the floral decor I had around the house, including a vintage floral tablecloth, to serve as the base. I kept the color palette to soft pastels and greenery, with doses of burlap such as this burlap table runner with lace trim to add another natural element.

The Centerpiece

This Vintage Easter bunny tiered tray is the star of the table and does double duty as a centerpiece and a treat display! The tiers are the perfect size for holding small cookies and candies for guests to nibble on. The macarons were the perfect way to add some more soft pastels to the table (and they taste delicious too!).

Easter Bunny Ceramic Tiered Platter

I started by placing the bunny centerpiece in the middle of the table and then spread a faux boxwood garland down the center of the table, curving it a bit to give it an organic look. From there I incorporated several other small natural looking elements such as vintage Easter nests with eggs, faux pink peony stems, gold Easter eggs, and moss rocks along the burlap runner.

The Place Settings

The place settings look elegant but are actually very simple. I used these beautiful and disposable White Elegance Premium Dinner Plates paired with burlap chargers underneath. This metallic gold cutlery is my absolute favorite and adds a beautiful touch of gold to the table to pair with the DIY gold ceramic bunny place cards and gold eggs in the centerpiece. I finished each place setting with these sweet Vintage Easter Dinner Napkins.

Easter Decor

When I decorate for a holiday I love to cull together all the decorations I have and then select a few that work well together to create a big impact. I decorated the buffet area in addition to the dining table to add even more floral Easter lushness to the room.

Think beyond the front door when it comes to decorating with wreaths. This gorgeous, large Vintage Easter Wreath with Burlap Bows creates the perfect backdrop for the meal when hung above the dining buffet. Easter Wreath

In addition to the wreath, I incorporated a vase with some faux flowering branches to add height, and some more natural elements like moss balls and boxwood balls, along with a tray filled with these Vintage Easter Drawstring Favor Bags and decorated with an ivy garland. The more greenery the better for creating a lush garden feel!

Finally, I incorporated the DIY Easter Egg Countdown that I made into the buffet decor as well. Check out the step-by-step egg countdown tutorial for another fun Easter project!
