Are you ready for the Big Top? I've always loved circus themed parties so when I saw the latest Vintage Circus Grand Events line, I knew it would be perfect for a Birthday party under the Big Top! I'm excited to share this fun filled party with easy DIYs and decor!
Vintage Circus Party Decorations
Setting up your own Big Top is easier than it looks with large stand-ups and decorations. Check out my tutorial for creating a DIY Circus Backdrop that can be easily scaled to fit your party space. One of my favorite items from the Vintage Circus line is the Centerpiece Set. I stacked them up and set one set on each end of the table for height.
Aren't these poster cutouts adorable? I love the clown and human cannon!
Vintage Circus Party Table
I didn't want the table to compete too much with the large backdrop and decorations, so I opted for a simple table with a dark finish and burlap table runner. This provided the perfect space for party favors and treats. Instead of a cake, a large "L" marquee sign took center stage of the table. A hand-painted burlap garland added the perfect vintage touch and circus flair to the front of the table.Check out my tutorial for this DIY Circus Banner to see how you can make your own in a snap!
My son's favorite character of any circus is the "Strongest Man on Earth", so of course I had to make some dumbbells! Check out my tutorial for these super simple DIY Dumbbells. Paired with a few other circus themed items, they make a great decor item or party favor.
You can also visit my blog for a tutorial for these Personalized DIY Circus Party Favors. Of course, you can't have a circus party without cotton candy and popcorn! I added Vintage Circus Personalized Stickers to personalize the Mini Striped Popcorn Boxes. These stickers are so versatile you could even use them as cupcake toppers or party tags! I hope you are inspired to create your own Vintage Circus Party! Be sure to check out my tutorial for the Circus Backdrop, Circus Dumbbells and Circus Banner for even more fun circus-themed projects!
