Add the perfect prop to your space themed classroom, party or VBS. Star charts are a must for students to be able to observe the galaxy. Start by covering a cardboard box with wood paper. I cut out a few individual wood boards from the paper and glued them on the top, bottom and diagonally across the box to give it a more realistic feel. Then use a marker to write the words "Star Charts" on the front of the box. Roll up cut sections of the blue paper roll and insert them into the box to represent the star charts. To add an extra touch, embellish the front of the box with gold stars.

This fort can be used for many themes, but in this case kids can use it as a place to contemplate the galaxy. It is a perfect photo backdrop too! To make the fort, start by adhering wood paper to large panels of foam core and cut out a door and a window. Now, tape the panels together. Give the fort a realistic feel by cutting out individual boards from wood paper, paint them a darker brown and adhere them around the window and door. Then add road signs.

Craft these bushes for a school play, classroom theme, party theme or VBS theme. They are really simple to create too! Start by wrinkling large sheets of green paper and adhere it around a cardboard box. Then cut leaf shapes from colored tissue paper and glue to the paper.

Bring a piece of the outdoors inside your church or classroom with this tree prop. Wrinkle and twist long lengths of kraft paper. Wrap the paper around a form (we used a coat rack) and tape or glue to secure in place. Continue to this step until the entire form has been covered. Cut leaf shapes from colored tissue paper and glue them to the tree branches.

This garland makes it so easy to have your students walk through the stars. Make the garland by feeding the cut-out stars through your home sewing machine.
