We created a massive balloon garland, comprised of black and white marble, purple chrome, turquoise, hot pink, and silver chrome balloons. This garland was a stunner and captured all the guests' attention right off the bat (pun intended, of course!)! Turquoise, lavender and hot pink cardstock bats were affixed to the wall using GlueDots® to appear as if they were flying out from the garland itself.

The backs of our chairs received a burst of color thanks to the adorable Personalized Bat Chair Backers we created. Not only did they help designate seating assignments, but they also made for bat-tastic party favors for our little ghouls after the party ended.

The chair backers were attached to the chairs using a strand of die cut bat shaped ribbon, and everyone went batty at the sight of their cuteness. You can find the tutorial to create your own felt Personalized Bat Chair Backers here.

Creepy Cool Table Decor

Vampirina-Halloween-Birthday-Party

We dressed up our table by first laying down a chic black lace spider web table runner, which helped ground all the bright colors in the space.

Purple textured glass vases, filled with anemones and hot pink dahlias, flanked a silver candelabra, which sat in the middle of the table. The candelabra held hot pink candles and sat atop a turquoise, hot pink and lavender painted DIY coffin sign. A few bats, cut from black vinyl, were added for good measure.

Copper taper candle holders, spray painted silver, were filled with purple candles and added height to the ends of our dining table. Hot pink cut glass bowls sat to the side of the candles and kept a mix of pink, blue, black, silver, white and lavender gumballs within the ghouls' reach.

Place Settings To Keep Your Guests Hanging Around

Vampirina-Halloween-Birthday-Party

Sometimes keeping all the little ghouls together at the table can be a precarious task, but our pretty place settings did the trick! Adorable Vampirina dessert plates were layered atop lavender square dinner plates. A Vampirina luncheon napkin was placed to the side of the plates. The ghouls couldn't get over the cuteness of Vampirina hanging upside down on the napkin! Since we served finger foods, utensils were not necessary at this soiree.

A Vampirina party headband rested between the plates at each place setting and the guests were thrilled to be able to look just like Vee for the day! Black polka dot paper straws were tucked into Vampirina paper cups, and as if they weren't cute enough, we sat the cups upon painted DIY wood coffin "coasters"!

Sweets To Sink Your Fangs Into

Vampirina-Halloween-Birthday-Party

Guests sang happy birthday to the birthday ghoul over Vampirina purple cupcakes that were topped with a custom hot pink, lavender, silver and turquoise sprinkle mix. The little ghouls couldn't wait to sink their fangs into them!

The little ghouls also nibbled on a mix of blue raspberry and grape popcorn, which was served in hot pink popcorn boxes. The boxes were dressed up to fit the theme, thanks to the bat wings that were cut from black glitter paper. They were simply attached to the backs of the boxes using a small dab of hot glue. We placed a few of the popcorn boxes atop a lavender-painted unfinished wood planter box to provide a bit of color and height to our dessert station.

We crafted a bright and cheery color blocked DIY Bat and Coffin Party Garland from wood bat shapes, DIY unfinished wood coffins and round wood beads, which added a bit of pizzazz to the front of our dessert table. You can find the steps to create your own Bat and Coffin Party Garland here.

A hot pink candle-filled silver candelabra sat beside a lavender-painted white ceramic vase, which was filled with beautiful blooms. These flowers provided a punch of pretty and some extra height when placed atop a black cake stand.

Before the guests left, the birthday girl gave them all a big "fangs for coming" hug and gifted them with the most delightful lavender chocolate candy filled bat favors ever! You can find the steps for the DIY Bat Candy Treat Idea here.
