Valentine's Play Date Party

Valentine's Play Date Party

There is so much to love about Valentines! Not just for the obvious reasons, but hues of reds and pinks just speak to me. The decorations are fun and romantic, and the holiday lends itself to all kinds of get-togethers. My little girl has been begging for a "play date party "with her friends and with a little extra effort, we turned a regular play date into a creative, happy Valentine's gathering with her buddies. As each decoration went up, she got more and more excited-- "everything is red and pink, mama!"

Garlands are one of the simplest ways to decorate for an occasion. And they store easily so you can pull them out next year or for other events throughout the year! valentine valentine buffet spread Sweet Treat Favors For party favors, I passed out these darling little heart drawstring bags stuffed with heart-shaped candy rings and chocolate conversation hearts. Something about having your very own bag to take home was so exciting for a group of preschoolers. Kind of like taking home a little Valentine's purse. valentine gift bags valentine party favor I made one of the garlands and I tell ya, it was one of my easiest DIY's to date!
