"You Stole a Pizza My Heart" Pizza Making Party

This Valentine's Day we are saving money on a babysitter, skipping the over crowded restaurants and serving up lots of love with a fun family-friendly "You Stole a Pizza My Heart" dinner and party. Lovin' is fresh from the oven at this fun pizza themed Valentine's Day party.

You Stole a Pizza My Heart PartyThis party was the perfect way for our family to celebrate Valentine's Day! Everyone had fun building their own heart pizzas, playing games and eating heart-shaped fruit pizza cookies. You too can plan your own Valentine's Day pizza party with these supplies and decorations. You Stole a Pizza My Heart Valentine's Day TableSince the focus of this party was building and making our own heart-shaped pizzas I started with a simple table setting. I used a white tablecloth and used the red gingham plastic tablecloth as a table runner. Round pizza pans served as the chargers for each place setting. I then layered red square dinner plates and silver heart shaped dessert platesRed gingham and Valentine's Day heart napkins coordinated perfectly with our festive place settings. You Stole a Pizza My Heart Place SettingAt each place setting I placed a DIY personalized pizza making kit with everything the kids would need to make their special pizzas. Each kit included marinara sauce, pizza toppings, pizza dough, mozzarella cheese and a small rolling pin. The kids rolled out their pizza dough, shaped it into a heart and then customized it with all of their favorite toppings.DIY Personalized Pizza Making KitMaking Heart PizzaHeart PizzaEven though this was a small family party I still wanted it to feel extra special so I created a simple dessert station with an old vintage desk. I used the black paper to create a backdrop and then hung the red gingham and kraft paper fans. I cut out red hearts and added them to some of the fans to give it more of a love theme. I also made a heart shaped pizza banner with the pizza sticker scenes and kraft heart banner. I filled jars with pasta and added a vintage scale and a tin filled with pizza making utensils for simple decorations. You Stole a Pizza My Heart Dessert TableHeart Pizza BannerYou Stole a Pizza My Heart Party TableEvery party needs to end with a sweet treat, so I added some cupcakes with mustache picks and a few jars of candy so the kids could fill up a favor jar with treats to enjoy later. In addition to the cupcakes I also had heart-shaped cookies that the kids decorated and made into delicious Heart Fruit Pizza Cookies. You Stole a Pizza My Heart CupcakesHeart Fruit Pizza CookieYou Stole a Pizza My Heart Candy BuffetWhile we waited for our pizzas to cook, we played a fun Roll a Pizza game. Everyone had lots of fun racing to see who would build their pizza first. This was a great way to pass the time and enjoy a few laughs while we waited on our pizzas.Roll a Pizza GameYou Stole a Pizza My Heart PartyThis family-friendly party is a great way to celebrate Valentine's Day with your loved ones and makes for a memorable event to look back on.
