November is such a festive time of the year! I love all of the turkey and holiday themed activities and decor, which is why I knew I needed a way to display my students' turkey in disguise shape crafts that we made during our Turkey in Disguise Shape Lesson. Click here to read about the lesson and how we made the crafts!
To make this "Is That You, Turkey?" bulletin board, I started by putting Fadeless® Weathered Wood Paper Roll on the back of the bulletin board. I love the way this paper looks—it's the perfect background for almost anything. I then used the Double-Sided Bulletin Board Borders Scalloped Edge Happy Line layered on top of the Lots of Dots Black Bulletin Board Borders. Layering borders gives bulletin boards an extra pop!
A little trick to layer your bulletin board borders is to turn them over and use an object to keep the distance consistent between the borders for the whole bulletin board. I used popsicle sticks between the borders, taped the backs, and then attached the borders together to my bulletin board.
I used the prepunched Black Bulletin Board Letters to make the "Is That You, Turkey?" title for the board. Prepunched bulletin board letters are absolutely amazing! I then attached the students' Shape Turkey Crafts and speech bubbles from our Turkey in Disguise Shape Lesson to the bulletin board.
I love how this themed bulletin board turned out! It's the perfect bulletin board for November and compliments the Turkey in Disguise Lesson we did earlier!
