An adorable invitation is a great way to get the excitement brewing for your celebration! Print on White Cardstock, then hand out to all of the little ghouls and goblins that you'd like to invite to your party; so easy and so darn cute!
The photo booth backdrop we made for this party served double duty as party decor. We covered a piece of plywood with White Fadeless® Paper to create the backdrop, but if you have empty wall space in your party area, you could recreate the same look on a wall instead. We used the "BOO" Banner from our printable collection as well as the Bat & Star Cutouts to decorate the backdrop. We folded the bat wings out a bit to give them dimension and really bring the display to life! Be sure to leave a blank area in the center of your banner where the kids could sit/stand to pose.
Moon & Star Cutouts from the printable collection were adhered to a Flipside Wood Framed Chalk Board that we displayed on the mantel. Orange Hanging Paper Fans added a festive pop of color to the setup and Black Tissue Garland draped along the front of the mantel made for a cute finishing touch.
We also embellished shelves on either side of our fireplace with bat cutouts, stars, and paper fans.
We added more bats, stars and paper fans throughout the space as needed to give the room a cohesive look. Pumpkin Halloween Decorations and Hanging Diamond Honeycomb Decorations were arranged at the bottom of the photo booth to anchor it, and a Small Jack-O'-Lantern Halloween Decoration was the perfect Halloween touch!
As the kiddos arrived, they got to strike a pose or two in front of the spooktacular photo backdrop. Our little guy here dressed up in the cutest Baby Bat Costume, which matched our theme perfectly. It was almost too cute to handle!
Our table decor echoed the backdrop elements and definitely had a more friendly than frightful vibe. At each place setting, Orange Beverage Napkins sat atop Black & White Buffalo Check Paper Dinner Plates and were topped with Halloween Fuzzy Plush Bat Bouncing Balls.
Lil' Pumpkin Cups with Lids and Straws finished off each place setting and were a big hit with the kids! We love these cups because they can be taken home as favors after the party is over.
We like the idea of individual snack portions when kids are around, so we served our Halloween snack mix in Cauldron Plastic Mugs. Like the pumpkin cups, these can also be sent home with the children after the party! Spider Web Shaped Doilies on the serving tray under each cauldron added a fun Halloween touch.
We created our own Halloween-themed table runner by arranging our printable "Too Cute to Spook" Signs and Halloween Wand Craft Kits down the center of the table. To make the wands stand up on their own, we placed them inside Mini Ceramic Chalkboard Flower Pots filled with Candy Corn then anchored them with more Spider Web Doilies that we taped to White Cardstock.
In addition to the pumpkin cups and cauldron mugs that the kids could take home, we had an assortment of party favors available that they could collect on their way out. We wrapped Purple Pails with Black & White Buffalo Check Ribbon, then added Printable "No Trick, Just Treats" Tags to the front. We stuffed each pail with Iridescent Metallic Shred, then filled them with Halloween Kawaii Plush Characters, Bat Wing Clappers, Bendable Spiders, Pumpkin Glow Necklaces and our Printable Halloween Flags. Mini Pumpkin Favor Boxes filled with treats were also available for the kids to enjoy.
I hope this "Too Cute to Spook" Party has inspired you to host something similar for the little kid-a-boos in your life. Happy Halloween!
