It's Halloween, and everyone—and everything—deserves a creative costume, even a cardboard craft roll or simple toilet paper roll. Bring this simple, classic, and versatile craft supply to life with materials from your stash—paint, felt, chenille stems and googly eyes. It's amazing how many disguises you can craft for such a simply shaped object. You can create a whole neighborhood cast of Halloween characters, fit for the best decorated mantle on the block.

These ladies bring a new meaning to "witchcraft." Paint your craft roll green and let dry. Fringe a strip of felt and glue to the front as hair (don't forget to cut bangs!). Cut a 2-inch circle from black felt and glue it to the top of the tube, just above the hair. Roll a piece of black felt into a 1.5-inch cone and glue to the top of the black circle. Draw on a face with markers and add black felt strips to the bottom as the witch's cloak. Glue on thin strips of felt to make arms. Add these witches to a table or shelf for a fun Halloween decoration.

Take me to your leader...or your craft stash! Paint your craft rolls in bright colors and add personality with felt, chenille stems, and eyeball stickers! The crazier the better in this monster mash-up!

These little critters are ready to climb up the water spout! Cut craft rolls in half and paint them black. Cut eyes out of white paper, draw pupils with a black marker, and glue to the tube. On the back, glue four black chenille stems across the back. Once the glue is dry, bend the legs into shape.

Safety comes first on Halloween, and these eerie, drippy candles are fashioned from a craft roll, hot glue, and battery powered tea lights...no real flames in sight! Decorate your mantel or window sills with these perfectly spooky imitation candles.

These creatures of the night are not so scary when they come in purple and orange with polka dots! Washi tape, craft paper, and wiggly eyes come together to make these happy Halloween bats. You can even hang them upside down for an authentic bat experience!
