Step right up to the Greatest Birthday Carnival On Earth! You won’t want to miss a sparkling detail of this breathtaking carnival party, created for a very special birthday girl. In a palette of pink, blue, and yellow with lots of gold sparkles, this party has it all: towering centerpieces with fresh flowers, a sweet and tasty recipe for an edible party favor, and even an engaging prize display that boys, girls, and children of all ages will adore!
Selecting the Perfect Palette When creating this fun carnival themed party for the birthday girl, we wanted to take a bit of a departure from traditional carnival colors. A palette of bright and bold pinks, blues and aquas, and yellow and gold was selected. A printable sign was sourced online in the party colors, along with some paper craft items. Luckily it was easy to find many coordinating items for the party. We started with rolls of carnival tickets in blue, pink and yellow. These tickets were used all throughout the party in lots of unique ways! 
Decor that Dazzles For a carnival party, there are many fun decorations and props that can be displayed. We created these Carnival Centerpieces that incorporate classic carnival treats like Cracker Jack and animal cookies right into the design. They're topped off with a darling Candy Pink Striped Mini Popcorn Box that holds a cloud of fluffy white hydrangeas; we think they look like popcorn! The tables were set with gold sequined table runners and sprinkled with custom-printed paper confetti. 
Carnival Eats and Treats Friends of the birthday girl loved her carnival food buffet, complete with tasty classics like buttery popcorn, spun-to-order fluffy cotton candy, sizzling hot dogs, and even salted hot pretzels. For a sweet and tasty carnival themed party favor, guests enjoyed pretty bags of Carnival Candy Bark, a custom confection created just for the party. The colors of this mouthwatering sweet matched the party perfectly. 
Games and Prizes of All Shapes and Sizes No carnival party would be complete without old fashioned carnival games! This girl's birthday party had it all, including a Hammer Strike, Ring Toss, Plinko, Down a Clown, and – an especially huge hit with the kids – a real dunk tank! Children took turns testing their skills at all the challenging stations, and were invited to visit the robust carnival prize booth, where a plethora of exciting prizes greeted their wondering eyes. Especially engaging was our very own Carnival Prize Display, which featured novelty prizes individually wrapped in clear gift bags, tied with natural jute and a tag, and suspended by mini clothespins. The kids loved selecting their winnings, and left the prize station loaded up with goodies galore! 
A Birthday Cake Design that Wows The birthday cake was a custom-designed creation that began as a drawing using the party colors and decor elements. The talented Cakes by Queens delivered the gorgeous carnival cake, and the fun toppers were applied on site. Carnival tickets, swirl pops, twisty pops, Carnival Candy Bark, and colorful balloons were clustered together, creating a decadent display. The bottom tier was wrapped in blue star carnival tickets, magenta double coupons and yellow star tickets, to resemble the Carnival Centerpieces that were on each dining table. A metal beverage tub was flipped upside down to create an elevated base for the special cake, and surrounded with layers of bright tassel garland in the party colors. The birthday girl took center stage as she stepped right up to blow out her candles!
