With Halloween over, it’s time to start planning Thanksgiving Dinners and celebrations! Often we focus so much time and effort on our adult Thanksgiving Tablescape, we forget about our sweet kiddos. I’m here today to show you how to create an adorable Thanksgiving Kids Table to ensure your children have a memorable and entertaining Thanksgiving.
Setting The Scene This kids Thanksgiving party is bright and colorful! Rather than dirty white linens (because you know it will happen) I decided to cover a small kids' table with white craft paper. I used the Argyle Adhesive Sheets as placemats then layered Orange Dessert Plates on top of Yellow Square Dessert Plates and added some adorable DIY Pumpkin Favor Boxes filled with yummy fall treats. I used a Standing Tree of Thanks Craft as the centerpiece and scattered Fall Tissue Paper Leaves on the table. Above the table I created and hung a DIY Thanksgiving Garland made from Mini Orange Hanging Lanterns, Mini Lime Green Hanging Lanterns, Mini White Hanging Lanterns and Fall Leaves Pinwheels. In addition to the food table, I covered a small table with a Color Your Own Thanksgiving Tablecloth to serve as the Kids' Activity Station. It had yummy treats and crayons to color the space.
Kids' Activities This kid activity station is for that moment when dinner is over, the adults are ready to chat/relax and the children need to entertain themselves. The table is covered with a Color Your Own Thanksgiving Tablecloth for the kids to color. There are Fall Leaves Pinwheels placed in DIY Leaf Centerpieces for the kids to enjoy and there is plenty of space to create Sand Leaf Crafts.
Kids' Thanksgiving Treats Fun leaf and Thanksgiving-themed treats are also on the Kids' Activity Table to help tide little ones over until pie is served. I placed cupcakes, pumpkin cookies and Pumpkin Fudge on a Footed Cake Stand. Here, kids can craft and snack at their pleasure.
