Thanksgiving Craft Tube People

Just in time for Thanksgiving! Kids will have fun creating their own little Pilgrim and Indian craft tubes. There are patterns for all four characters that kids can use to recreate the first Thanksgiving feast. This would be a fun craft to do while waiting for your own Thanksgiving feast. The kids can make their own set of characters. Let their imaginations take over as they decorate belts and headbands and choose the color of clothes and hair for each character. Using the American Indian Girl Craft Tube Printable, cut pieces out of cardstock with scissors. Use crayons to draw details on her belt, headband, feather and clothing. Wrap the body piece around the craft roll and secure with glue dots. Fringe the hair with scissors and roll with a pencil to create a small flip at the end. Attach the hair with a glue stick or glue dots and add the headband over the top. Use a glue dot to attach the feather to the back of the craft roll. Use a black colored pencil to draw eyes and a nose on her face.

Run the hair between your middle and forefinger like you are curling ribbon with scissors. Attach the hair with a glue stick or glue dots and add the headband over the top. Use a glue dot to attach the feathers to the back of the craft roll. Use a black colored pencil to draw eyes and a nose on his face.

Attach the face piece first to the top part of the craft roll with glue dots and then the body piece to the bottom part of the tube. Add the collar to the top of the black section and adhere with a glue stick. Add the apron so it is centered between the collar and the bottom of the craft tube. Fringe the hair with scissors and roll with a pencil to create a small flip at the end. Attach the hair with a glue stick or glue dots. To make the bonnet, you will cut on the two black lines and fold the outside pieces in. Attach with glue dots. Use a black colored pencil to draw eyes and a nose on her face. Attach with glue dots.
