When my almost 7-year-old son came to me and said he wanted to have a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Birthday Party, I was thrilled! I grew up with the Ninja Turtles and love that my boys are into these totally awesome dudes as well! I couldn’t wait to start styling and knew it was going to be a blast!
Setting the Scene: When it came to decorating for my son's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle party, Oriental Trading had the most bodacious party products I could have asked for! Their products made my job simple and fun! I added a few easy DIYs to amp up the turtle-power party meter and my son and his friends were ready to have a shell-kickin' good time! 
The Table: Our kids' dining table was set with a ton of tubular Ninja Turtle party products! We started with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Table Cover and then made a table runner from the Fadeless Brick Paper. We love how this brought in a pop of color and hint of city flair. We painted TMNT wooden craft letters bright green and used them as our table centerpiece. We then flanked them with pieces from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Party Table Decorating Kit. We decided to paint two sets of Clear Candy Cylinders and two Short Jars the same color and added a ribbon with eye detail to mimic each Ninja Turtle character. 
The Place Setting: Each righteous guest's place setting was color coordinated for their favorite Ninja Turtle! My birthday boy loves Donatello, so his place setting was full of purple details! Each setting included a Lime Green Square Dinner Plate, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Dessert Plate, Lime Luncheon Napkin with ribbon and Black Googly Eyes, utensils and a Clear Glass Milk Bottle filled with our Turtle Party Punch! Find out how to make this kid-friendly, delicious drink here! We added a Lime Green Striped Paper Straw topped with a Pizza Eraser for a fun detail! We also included a Ninja Turtle Small Favor Tubes filled with Green Medium Gumballs and a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Blowout as an extra special treat. 
The Favors: We created a few fun DIYs that served as favors for our totally awesome turtle fans! We made some ooey-gooey Sewer Slime which my boys just loved making! We housed the toxic goo in decorated Short Jars for easy storage! Find out how to make a batch of your own Sewer Slime here! 
We filled our personalized DIY Ninja Turtle Tote Bags with fun TMNT party favors, foam nunchucks and a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Lollipop. Find out how to make your own DIY TMNT Tote Bag here! 
We also made some awesome turtle shells out of aluminum roasting pans we found at our local Dollar Store! We simply spray painted them green and added some ribbon so the kids could slip them on. They were able to quickly transform into their favorite Ninja Turtle! These made the perfect chair decor for our table before the kids tried them out! 
Photo Booth Fun: We hung more of the Fadeless Brick Paper and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Birthday Banner on one of our walls to create a fun Ninja Turtle-themed photo booth for the kids! They loved using all the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Photo Stick Props! 
The Sweets: 
Our sweets table was filled with bodacious TMNT inspired treats including cupcakes, cake pops, cookies, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Lollipops and a totally tubular cake! We just love how our baked goodies coordinated with Oriental Trading's TMNT party products! 
We made a simple backdrop by painting DIY Canvases and adding simple ribbon and eye detail. 
My son had the best time at his Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Party and we love how simple and fun it was to create thanks to Oriental Trading!
