Sweet Behavior Classroom Management

Sweet Behavior Classroom Management

I am always looking for new ways to help motivate my students to work together as a team. The Sweet Success Management Set is a great way to to increase teamwork in the classroom daily. Students will love to earn a donut for their team's tower along with sweet, adorable rewards! Be sure to download the Free Sweet Printable here!

To get my students motivated to work as a team using the Sweet Success Management Set, I wanted to build excitement and create a small display for them to refer back to. Due to my bulletin boards being used for academic learning, I decided to just add it to my white board where they can always see it!

To create this simple display, I cut apart a Donut Party Garland, added some colorful poms, and printed out the title "Sweet Behavior." Download the Free Sweet Printables here! As a whole group, we discussed what behavior goals our classroom is working on and came up with our top four. Each student then added a donut to the display. I wanted them to feel a part of the display and to take pride in our new management system.

After we created our display and came up with our classroom behavior goals, students took a few minutes to reflect on their own personal goal.

I was worried about having the token system on tables throughout the classroom and decided to make a special table in front of the display. I created team names and glued them onto a Donut Party Square Paper Dinner Plates. Students were very excited to start using their new team names and I was glad to have an organized system setup!

This setup works perfectly in my classroom! When a team earns a donut, one student quickly heads to the front of the room to add a donut to their tower. I love that no one is playing around with towers or accidentally knocking a tower off while grabbing a book!

Towers have lines to easily determine when a team has earned 10, 20, or 30 donuts. Each time a team earns 10 donuts, they get to head to the sweet rewards container which includes Donut Party Pencils with Eraser Toppers, 3D Donuts Erasers, Donut Party Lollipops, Donut Party Rings, Donut Party Yo-Yo's, Donut Party Rubber Bracelets, and Donut Party Sprinkles Slap Bracelets.

I love how eager and motivated my students are to work on our classroom behavior goals as a team with the implementation of these easy tools!
