It’s that time again! Super Bowl weekend! Time to gather your friends and family and celebrate one of America’s favorite past times! Whether your team made it to the big game or not, it is still a great time to eat some great food and celebrate!
Good food is always a must. My family loves a big pot of chili, loaded nachos, or even a hot dog with all the fixings, but what everyone looks forward to is a little something sweet. I styled this Super Bowl sweets table to handle the biggest sweet tooth at the party!
To create this game day look, I was going for a classic football palate. I found these cute football plates, napkins, bowls and treat boxes and knew they would work perfectly. I gathered up props that fit my theme of metal and wood, and used a piece of artificial turf as my table runner.
It’s always fun to have a craft of some kind if you were doing this as a themed birthday party, or if you’re just having some friends and family over for the game. These easy DIY felt pennants are fun way for them to cheer on their favorite team, and make a great back drop for your table!
Since this is a Super Bowl sweets table, there needed to be lots of treats, right? How cute are the adorable football and "We're #1" hand suckers? They worked perfectly stuck in foam inside this wood tray. I made the goal post with 4 dowels, some yellow paint and a glue gun! Easy! Cold water is a must during the game, and how cute to serve it in these referee bottles complete with their own whistle!
For those tense game moments, your guests can grab a stress helmet to hold onto! Using a clip board in your decor really adds a fun prop to your table as well.
Cookies and cream popcorn, cupcakes, and mini ice cream sandwiches were also on the menu. This tasty popcorn is the perfect mix of salty and sweet. This is a super easy recipe with only 3 ingredients, and these black and white striped boxes were the perfect container. This "halftime hydration" beverage cart can be rolled in to where the action is or leave it next to your table for a quick cold one! I made sure to stock it with a few different beverages, cute straws, some beverage napkins and more referee bottles.
I hope that your Super Bowl celebration this year is lots of fun and full of good fun! May the best team win!
