The Bible is filled with many individuals and stories that tell of God's unfailing love. From Jonah, to Moses, to Noah each story points to God's heart for redemption. While it's nice to focus on teaching one story at a time, sometimes it's nice to be able to have hands-on learning that brings lots of stories together! Whether you are a Sunday School teacher looking for ideas for your lessons or a parent looking for resources to use at home, these Bible Story activities are perfect for younger children to use!

If you are looking for a range of activities in one place, these Bible Activity Pads are filled with puzzles, connect the dots, crosswords, coloring pages and fill in the blanks. The activities correlate with Bible stories such as Jonah and the Whale, Noah's Ark, the Birth of Jesus, Joseph, and Jesus' Life and Resurrection. These would work great for a church busy bag, activities before Sunday School or pair it with some Bible Story Crayons as a gift!

These Bible Story Lacing Cards are perfect for children to practice their fine motor skills. As they are lacing, have them retell the Bible story after you have taught it to them. I love using the Jesus Storybook Bible to retell Bible stories—it's great for all ages! You could also lay the pieces out, describe a story, and then have a child find the right one to lace. I like that the 12 Bible story cards are made out of sturdy cardboard so that they will last.

The Melissa & Doug® Water Wow® Bible Stories water reveal pad is definitely a big WOW in my book! It's like painting, but without a mess and the best part is that once it dries you can reuse it again! As kids paint the page with the refillable water pen, it comes to life in vivid color. Each page has a description and then items the child can hunt for on the page! It is so much fun! The four stories included are: David and Goliath, Jesus Feeds the 5,000, Joseph and the Coat of Many Colors, and Jesus Blesses the Little Children.

One of my favorite features about The Bible Stories with Jesus Coloring Book is that each story includes a verse, so it would be great for a weekly scripture memory activity as a Sunday School class or as a family! Kids could color the page and then hang it up to memorize the verse for the week! The stories/verses included are—Jesus and Zacchaeus the Tax Collector/Luke 19:10, Jesus Talks with a Samaritan Woman/John 4:13-14, Jesus Teaches Nicodemus/John 3:16, Jesus Heals a Man Born Blind/John 9:39, The Little Children and Jesus/Mark 10:4, and 1 John 4:19.
