Here are seven silly SLIME recipes that we think are perfect for summertime! Be the hero of summer and make these slime activities with your kids. Making slime is the perfect boredom buster and will keep kids busy for hours. We created these fun recipes for our Summer Slime Bar...the hit of our summer! Kids love to create slime and summer is the perfect time to make memories with your kids.

Google eyes and glitter pom-poms give texture to this Monster Slime! To make the Monster Slime, combine 1 c. Clear Elmer's Glue, 4 t. Green Glitter, 2 or 3 drops of green food coloring, 1 Tbsp. baking soda, and 1 Tbsp. of contact lens solution. Add in colorful google eyes and glitter pom-poms. Mix well with a spoon and then knead with hands.

This pink slime looks like our favorite summer fruit -- watermelon! To make this fun, fruity slime combine 1 c. clear glue, 2 drops of pink food coloring, 1 Tbsp. baking soda, lots of pink glitter, black polka dot gems, and 1 Tbsp. contact lens solution in a mixing bowl. Add more solution if the mix is too sticky.

Cute bugs in slime...what more could kids want? To make bug slime combine 1 c. Elmer's white glue, 2 drops of purple food coloring, 1 Tbsp. baking soda, a couple of handfuls of mini insect erasers, and 1 Tbsp. contact lens solution. Add more solution if the mix is too sticky. Mix well and knead with hands. Store in an air tight container.

Our ocean slime is perfect for summer. To make ocean slime combine 1 c. clear glue, 3 drops of blue or light blue food coloring, 1 Tbsp. baking soda, 1 Tbsp. contact lens solution, and 2 Tbsp. mini colorful seashells. Add more solution if the mix is too sticky. Mix well and knead with hands. Store in an air tight container.

Smiley slime will make anyone smile...especially kids this summer. To make smiley slime combine 1 c. white glue, 5 drops of yellow food coloring, 1 Tbsp. baking soda, 1 Tbsp. contact lens solution, and 2 Tbsp. mini smiley face beads in a mixing bowl. Add more solution if the mix is too sticky. Mix well and knead with hands. Store in an air tight container.

Kids will love this "Out of this World" slime! To make space slime combine 1 c. clear glue, 3 drops of blue or light blue food coloring, 1 Tbsp. baking soda, 1 Tbsp. contact lens solution, and 2 Tbsp. star and moon gems. Add more solution if the mix is too sticky. Mix well and knead with hands. Store in an air tight container.

This Tutti Fruity Slime is fun for tiny hands to mold and smells yummy too! To make fruity slime combine 1 c. white glue, 3 drops of orange food coloring, 1 Tbsp. baking soda, 1 Tbsp. contact lens solution, 5 squirts of a favorite fruity smelling lotion and fruit-shaped beads. Add more solution if the mix is too sticky. Mix well and knead with hands. Store in an air tight container.
