School is out for the summer and while the days are filled with lounging poolside, summer camps and lots of outdoor play, it's still nice to have structure and responsibility for the kids. I've created 3 different ways to get your kids involved with helping out around the house this summer that they're sure to love! Find the one that works best for you! Learn how to make a chore chart by easily downloading the Free Summer Chore Chart Printables here!
A basic chore chart is perfect for the older kids. Download the Free Summer Chore Chart Printables here and print out onto white cardstock then hang the chart in a place your kids can see on a daily basis. Give them a fun pen to mark off the responsibilities they have completed. You could add an incentive in the notes section like "an ice cream outing with mom" or "45 minute later bedtime" in the note section to get the kids excited to finish their chores.

These chore punch cards can be used for kids to earn different incentives for fun summer activities or prizes. One chore equals one punch and once the punch card is all filled up, the child will turn in their card to claim their prize!

Punch a hole in the top corner of the cards and tie them together with colorful ribbon as a great way to keep all the cards in one place.

Kids can earn chore cash to spend in the "family store". Download the Free Chore Cash Card Printable here and print onto white cardstock and cut them out. Each chore is worth either 1, 5 or 10 in chore cash. The bigger the chore, the bigger the chore cash the child earns.

Each bin will have goodies in them that are worth 1, 5 or 10 in chore cash. These neon storage bins are the perfect size to hold all of the goodies inside and the bright, summery colors are perfect too!

At the end of the week and the chores are all completed, the kids can turn in their chore cash for fun goodies and prizes!

For 1 chore cash, the kids will be able to choose a favorite treat. It's nothing too extravagant but still something the kids will look forward to and enjoy.

For the 5 chore cash bin, up the incentives a bit more. They can trade in their cash for fun stationery supplies like stamps, pens, erasers and notepads. I loved this
I loved this adorable Foodimals Collection and knew it would be a huge hit! We love the Foodimals Scented Stamps, Scented Foodimals Notepads and the Foodimal Scented Erasers.

If the kids worked extra hard and earned a 10 chore cash card, they get to choose from an awesome bin filled with fun toys like snapimals, foam putty monsters and sequin dolphins. Choose incentives you know your kids will love and will work hard to earn.
