Create a beautiful Nutcracker Tea Party this holiday season for all the little ballerinas in your life. From adorable ballerina necklaces to a magical tour of the Land of Sweets, you'll love all the sweet ideas and easy DIY projects this party has to offer.
In our house the Christmas season just isn't complete without watching the classic ballet, The Nutcracker. If you can't make it to the ballet during all the hustle and bustle of the holiday season, here's a way to bring The Nutcracker to you! Kids will love this sweet party and all the details that make it so magical.
The first thing I did to set the party scene was make a balloon garland out of red, pink, dark blue and light blue balloons. I then took apart a Nutcracker Garland and attached the pieces to the balloon garland using Glue Dots.
Each little guest received a Pink Tutu to wear during the party. I attached the tutus to the back of the chairs using Red Single Faced Satin Ribbon and placed these festive Mini Nutcracker Stockings on top of the tutus. The tutu and the mini stockings are both darling take home favors for the kids after the party is over.
The new Nutcracker Party Supplies make it so easy to put this party together. The Nutcracker Centerpieces lined the table and I scattered a few Yarn Pom-Poms across the table as well. DIY Unfinished Wood 3D Stand-Up Trees were painted in red, pink and blue Acrylic Paint and were placed next to the Nutcracker Centerpieces.
The Nutcracker Paper Dessert Plates and the Nutcracker Dinner Plates can easily be mixed and matched on your party table. Add the darling Crown Beverage Napkin, Ballerina Luncheon Napkin and sweet Nutcracker Paper Cups and your Nutcracker table is all set for the party!
These adorable mice double as name cards and a little friend to take home after the party is over. Using just a few supplies like Yarn Pom-Poms, beads and Clear Stretchy Cording, you can easily make these furry little friends! Check out the full Pom Pom Mouse Craft tutorial here.
Every little ballerina at the party will adore these darling ballerina necklaces. They're so easy, the kids can even make them at the party with a little help from an adult! Check out the full tutorial for Nutcracker Ballerina Necklaces here to find out how to make your own.
