Succulent Wedding

Succulent Wedding

Succulents have been a flourishing wedding trend in recent years, most having a rustic bohemian feel. We wanted to take that trend and add a simple, yet elegant twist by adding hints of gold and elegant wood details to really bring the beauty of the succulents to life. Complete with a subtly gorgeous DIY Succulent Place Card, a chic and delicious DIY Succulent Cupcake Display and refreshing Pomegranate Cosmopolitan, this succulent wedding will have you fall head over heels in love with this now chic and timeless theme.

Succulent Wedding Full Table

The Table:

To create the elegant yet rustic look we were dreaming about for this table, we purchased an inexpensive piece of faux wood paneling from our local hardware store and had it cut down to fit the size of our tabletop.

We love the way the rustic wood looked against the elegance of the decor.

The Cupcake Bar Cart:

Succulent Wedding DIY Cupcake Display

We wanted to incorporate succulent cupcakes into our wedding, while still maintaining that that chic and elegant feel. Our friends from Katie's Creative Baking came up with the perfect cupcakes that looked stunning on our DIY Cupcake Display.

We took a few Cupcake Pedestals and added a coat of gold metallic paint and then adorned them with some Gold Foil detail. We then made our own cupcake wrappers by cutting the Party Porcelain Paper Doilies along their outer edges and taping the ends together.

We love the vintage feel it added to the cupcake display. And they looked even more lovely atop a White and Gold Foil Gift Box.
