There is nothing I love more than springtime and warm weather. It means the arrival of summer fruit, bright colors and an abundance of BBQs and outdoor summer parties. And when you pair those fabulous thing together, you have the perfect-themed celebration! Strawberry parties happen to be my all time favorite and we have the best strawberry party decor around. Keep reading to see how to create a Strawberry Party of your own!
SETTING THE SCENE When creating a party-scape, I like to create a backdrop of sorts. It helps frame the party and creates a great focal point. For the Strawberry Party, I hung the Berry 1st Birthday Garland on the wall and surrounded them with Red Tissue Hanging Fans, Peppermint Hanging Fans Assortment, White Tissue Hanging Fans and Red Gingham Hanging Fans. I also added Strawberry Party Pinwheels to give the backdrop an extra pop!
I set the table with wicker chargers, white rimmed plates and the adorable Berry 1st Birthday Dinner Plates. Above the plates, I placed Berry Baskets (painted white) with fresh strawberries and Strawberry-Shaped Bubble Bottles for each guest. I always want guests to feel like their place setting was set just for them, with personalized details and party favors.
I love a party exploding with shapes, color and texture. One of my favorite things to do just that is to place honeycombs around the party, in front of dessert tables or by the mantel. They are large, eye-popping and help bring so much color to a party. Plus, it's an easy way to fill space and tie in a theme. For the this strawberry party I placed White Honeycomb Tissue Balls with Tassel, Red Honeycomb Tissue Balls with Tassel and Inflatable Strawberry Party Beach Balls around the table to add more color to the room. I also created the most adorable Tissue Paper Strawberries to tie in with the theme.
STRAWBERRY PARTY FOOD The sweets served at the strawberry party were (of course) strawberry themed. I made Strawberry Cake, Vanilla Bean Cupcakes with Strawberry Frosting and my favorite ever Strawberry Shortcake. I love it because it's no-bake (yay!), so super tasty and takes under ten minutes to make. All that is required is a store-bought shortcake, strawberries and real whipped cream! Simply smother the shortcake with whipped cream then top with gorgeous halved strawberries for the perfect focal point to your strawberry party table!
STRAWBERRY PARTY FAVORS Party favors are my favorite aspect of a DIY Party! For this party I wanted to create both favor tags and cute boxes for my guests to take home with them. I love coming home from a party with a sweet gift so thoughtfully created by the host. It's such a great memento of the party. For the strawberry party, I created Strawberry Doily Party Favors from a printable and Mini Valentine Heart Doilies and placed the art on a glass jar filled with Strawberry-Shaped Bubble Bottles for our guests. The Strawberry Doily Party Favors would also be adorable framed or tied to a berry-themed treat. I also created Strawberry Boxes for each guest and filled them with yummy treats.
