Check out these Star Wars™ party ideas including a Jedi Refueling Station with Yoda Soda, DIY Glowing Lightsaber Centerpieces and Stormtrooper Cupcakes!
Star Wars parties are a timeless party theme. With the continuation of movie trilogies, Star Wars parties will be around for a long time. I even predict they will be a hot party trend this year! If you are looking for Star Wars party ideas, check out this party I styled including a Yoda Soda Recipe, The Force vs. The Dark Side Dining Table, Stormtrooper Cupcakes and more! Jedi Refueling Station featuring Yoda Soda and Jedi Juice
I created this "Thirsty You Are" Jedi Refueling Station using a bar cart that I already had. I simply placed a R2-D2 & C-3PO Stand-Up and Yoda Stand-Up on either side of it and added this huge Star Wars™ VII: The Force Awakens 3D Mylar Balloon, which is just awesome! Your guests can enjoy some Yoda Soda from a Beverage Dispenser into Clear Stemless Glasses so they can "refuel" during the party. On the bottom tier of the cart, party guests can also choose to enjoy Jedi Juice (blue Gatorade®) to drink.
The Force vs. The Dark Side Dining Table
Set the scene and transform your dining room with Star Wars Cardboard Stand-Ups and an Out of This World Hanging Hexagon Set. Create a wow-factor behind your dining table by hanging a few pieces of the Out of This World Hanging Hexagon Set side by side on the wall. Place a Darth Vader Stand-Up and Stormtrooper Stand-Up on either side. I also took the silver hexagon pieces that came with the Hexagon Set and placed them flat on the dining table to give the table a cohesive look.
Decorate the center of the table with Stormtrooper Star Wars Masks displayed on cake pedestals. Create a wow factor centerpiece with this Cupcake Stand filled with Stormtrooper Cupcakes and topped with a Darth Vader Mask.
These DIY Lightsaber Centerpieces add a neat glow to the table and are super easy to make.
Tip: Add Star Wars toys your kids already own to decorate your party space. I borrowed these R2-D2 and Yoda toys from my nephews and they look awesome on the party table.
Finish the table with Star Wars Dinner Plates, Star Wars Napkins, Star Wars Cups and Gold Metallic Forks.
Dress Up in Star Wars Costumes!
My son was so excited to model his Star Wars costumes. I think costumes always add a fun element to themed parties! He had a blast dressing up in the Kids' Deluxe Jedi Knight Costume and his favorite, of course, was the villain. He loved posing with Darth Vader and Stormtrooper stand-ups while dressed up in this Kids' Deluxe Kylo Ren Costume and Kylo Ren Lightsaber.
Having your party guests dress up in themed costumes always leads to lots of playful fun and the photos you get when they pose with the Star Wars Cardboard Stand-Ups are priceless.
Tip: To save money, you could also offer your guests masks to dress up in instead of full costumes. These Star Wars Kylo Ren Masks are a great alternative!
Star Wars Party Favors Send each guest home with a "Dark Side" and "The Force" party favors. You can make these Dark Side party favors by filling a Darth Vader Trick-or-Treat Pail with the Star Wars villains printed on the Star Wars™ Jelly Belly® Candy Packs.
Then take the rest of the jelly bean packs printed with the "good guys" and offer them to guests along with these mini Lightsaber bubble wands.
This party was so much fun to style. I hope you got lots of ideas to incorporate into your next Star Wars Party! May The Force Be With You! Looking for more Star Wars party ideas? Check out my Yoda Soda Recipe, Star Wars Stormtropper Cupcakes and DIY Lightsaber Centerpieces!
