Who says gingerbread houses are only for Christmas? PJ from A Girl Named PJ took gingerbread treat boxes and let kids cover the with green candy sticks and chocolate coins with hot glue (help younger crafters as needed). Next, she let littles make them truly fit for a leprechaun by covering with bright, cheerful St. Patrick's Day Self-Adhesive Shapes. She then filled the boxes with remaining candy and coins.

Help your littles complete this craft by Kylee Krizmanic that doubles as décor! Begin by assembling the pieces of a leprechaun clothespin craft kit. Next, create pom-pom rainbows by arranging them around a bottle cap and hot-gluing to the edges. Then, hot glue your leprechauns and pom poms to a section of green and white baker's twine. Create a second layer of garland by putting together a shamrock ornament kit with school glue or glue dots, then adhere to another piece of baker's twine with hot glue. For a final pop of color, create a third garland by gluing colorful pom poms onto another section of twine. Arrange to your liking, then hang with washi tape.

Jeromina of Paper, Plate, and Plane developed these adorable leprechaun hats that are not only a fun craft, but also perfect party favors for your St. Patrick's Day festivities. Begin with a set of small, clear plastic snack bowls. Cover them with green acrylic paint using a small paint brush and a sponge per the instructions, until all surfaces are evenly covered. To create the band of the hat, cut a piece of 5/8" black ribbon that will fit snugly around the hat, then attach with double-sided tape. Next, cut a shamrock shape and buckle out of green and yellow card stock or construction paper, then attach to the hat with double-sided tape or glue. Once dried, fill with gold coins for a sweet treat.

Add cheerful color to your window with these mobiles by Shauna from Ella and Annie. Begin by cutting a simple white paper plate in half, then punching six holes along the bottom. Cut white tissue paper into small squares, then pinch and glue onto the plate until you've created a fluffy white cloud all the way across. Cut six pieces of white curling ribbon of varying lengths, tie off the bottom with a bead, then add beads in ROYGBIV order all the way up. Tie beaded ribbon onto the punched holes in the plate, hang your cloud and enjoy.

Handprint crafts are fun to revisit and see how much kids have grown, and this leprechaun handprint craft by Michelle from Crafty Morning is sure to be a favorite season after season. Set out tan, orange and green washable craft paint with brushes for each. Paint kiddos' fingers orange and their palms tan, then have them press firmly onto a piece of white paper. Paint on a green hat around the head, and add orange paint for additional hair around the top of the head. Add googly eyes and draw a nose and mouth with a black permanent marker. Create a buckle by cutting a strip of black construction paper the width of the hat and a square buckle out of yellow paper, then glue both on.

Jennifer from Mommy Evolution developed this colorful craft. Draw a clover on a piece of black paper, then cut out the center. Next, cut out small squares of green and yellow tissue paper and set aside. Lay out a piece of clear contact paper sticky side up and place the clover on top so the adhesive part takes up the middle, then place your tissue paper squares in random order onto the contact paper. Once the tissue paper is placed to your liking, place another piece of contact paper over the top to seal in your design. Cut the clover out of the excess contact paper, then hang in your window with tape or stick it on the fridge.

Add a little magic to your St. Patrick's Day with these fun, frilly wands by Katie from Icing Designs. Begin by cutting a cloud shape out of two pieces of white felt. Hot glue all but the bottom together, then fill with stuffing. Cut rainbow-hued ribbon to twice the length of a large lollipop stick, then tie ribbons into a knot onto the end. Place a dot of hot glue on the ribbon knot and insert it into the open end of the cloud. Close up the cloud with additional hot glue, let dry and wave away!

Kim from The Resourceful Mama came up with this clever craft that replaces paint with yarn for a 3-D leprechaun beard. Paint a white paper plate tan with a brush and allow to dry. Cut small pieces of orange yarn, bunch them up and glue onto the rim of the plate to create your beard (let the kiddos get silly with this!). Use a free hat template to cut your hat out of green, black and yellow paper, then glue pieces together and glue to the plate. Create the face with googly eyes and a black permanent marker.
