Tell the bride to gather her broomstick-riding besties and celebrate her big day Halloween style with this funky, glam and modern #SquadGhouls Bridal Shower! Filled with a frightfully chic skeleton, a gorgeously, ghastly gravestone and modern, macabre DIY skull decor, this bewitching bridal celebration will have the bride fully prepared for "til death do us part".
To bring our modern Halloween bridal shower to life (or raise it from the dead), we used a posable skeleton as a life-size table runner.
We added a frightfully, fem touch, by brushing on a few coats of pastel pink paint to bring our un-dead friend back into the world of the living.
Two white and gold ceramic vases were filled with pieces of boxwood garland, pink peony blooms and a gold-painted skeletal hand, giving an ominous touch to the table.
Each member of the squad had a personalized place setting comprised of a gold laser cut charger and a white paper dinner plate that we detailed with gold foil alphabet stickers to say "#squadghouls.
Simply add a clear dinner plate on top when it's time to eat for a simple and stylish feast!
We layered a few different napkins beneath the plate to add some pops of color including a gold metallic striped beverage napkin, a mint and gold polka dot beverage napkin and pink marbled napkin. All brought a petrifying pop of color to an otherwise monochromatic look.
A DIY wood skeleton handpick was added to each plate and painted white and adorned with a gold spider ring in honor of the bride-to-be.
DIY wood skulls were painted in the same frightful fashion and then detailed with glitter alphabet stickers with each guests' name.
The settings were made complete with a gold metallic fork and a spider-adorned gold rimmed plastic cup.
Our glam, gold bar cart was home to a suite of spine-chilling details.
A small posable skeleton sat beside one of our favorite party details; a DIY wood coffin that we painted and detailed with gold washi tape, a gold spider and more gold alphabet stickers to say "RIP Single Life". Because once the bride says "I do", it's all over!
On the other side of our skeleton was our DIY Skull Decor! We painted 3 DIY mini ceramic skulls and then placed them on a gold three- arm candelabra and placed it on a painted riser.
We then added some color coordinating cardstock to the riser and added stickers to spell "where my ghouls at?".
Because you can never have too many Halloween puns at a party!
All of our party details were placed in front of our #squadghouls backdrop.
