Spring and early summer brides are fawning over this modern take on the classic white wedding. This gorgeous palette is composed of white and ivory with hints of natural greenery and elegant gold details. This elegant and alluring color scheme adds bits of beauty and romance any bride and groom would adore.
The Place Settings:
Each place setting was comprised of a Premium Gold Trimmed Clear Dinner Plate and a coordinating Dessert Plate.
We love the light and air feel they brought to the table while still adding a note of elegance.
A linen napkin held a menu printed on Premium White Cardstock and was adorned with a small stem of Greenery and Faux White Blossom.
The plates were complimented with vintage-inspired Gold Cutlery and a Clear Premium Wine Glass and Etched Champagne Flute.
The Decor:
The focal point of our table was our DIY Centerpiece.
We placed floral foam atop a Large Gold Geometric Stand and filled with with Faux Silver Dollar Eucalyptus, Lamb's Ear and a variety of faux white flowers including Peonies and Roses.
You can find the step-by-step tutorial for this project here!
We used Glue Dots to adhere a White and Gold Foil Table number to a gold trimmed glass box and placed it directly beneath our centerpiece.
We surrounded our centerpiece with White Pillar Candles housed in Large Cylinder Vases.
Smaller white votive candles were placed in Round Votive Vases and complimented with a few Faux White Florals placed in gold-painted Taper Candle Holders.
The Dessert Cart:
A modern, gold bar cart was home to our DIY Watercolor Cocktail Menu and samples of the bride and groom's signature cocktails.
We used Watercolor Paints and Pacon® Watercolor Paper to create the hues of our his and her's cocktails. The paint was then outlined using a Fine Tip Sharpie Marker to mimic the lines of the cocktail glasses.
The Marker was also used to add the lettering for the cocktails. Once complete, the DIY Watercolor Cocktail Menu was displayed in a gold frame atop a White Cake Stand. You can find the full tutorial for this project here!
Once the cocktail hour ended, our bar cart turned into a beautiful display for the white wedding cake and our DIY Floral Cake Hoop.
A Hula Hoop was painted gold and then attached to a piece of Floral Foam.
Sprigs of Silver Dollar Eucalyptus and Lamb's Ear were adhered to the Hoop along with White Peonies, White Rose Boutonnieres and Faux White Roses. Find the full tutorial here!
This made for a gorgeous showcase for the couples' elegant cake.
