Spring Garden Party for Kids

Transform any backyard space into the perfect setting for a garden party for kids! The happy colors with pops of red gingham make this party playful and fun. Kids will love spending time outdoors this spring or summer with friends and family. Here's how you can make this outdoor gathering extra special!

Kids' Table Decor

The items in this party line are simply adorable! I love the pops of bright color mixed in with red gingham. I've always been a sucker for hint of gingham. A gingham tablecloth is the perfect way to begin setting up a happy garden party. Add in a green moss table runner for a hint of greenery and texture on the table. The Garden Party Directional Sign is such a cute way to greet guests as they arrive at your garden party. It makes for an adorable photo backdrop too!

DIY Tabletop Centerpiece

A tabletop banner or garland is such a fun way to add more DIY decor to your party. I loved creating this easy and sweet Tabletop Centerpiece. The red boot planters set a springy tone while adding a pop of bright color to the centerpiece. Would you believe that the cute fans on our pennant banner are actually Garden Party Food Picks? It's fun to get creative and find another purpose for party items!

A fun twist on a garden party centerpiece is to sprinkle in some adorable Garden Gnomes. We decided to let the kids "Adopt a Gnome" to take home! They obviously loved this idea. The centerpiece looked so much cuter with the little gnomes lined up along the green moss. See how to make the whole tabletop centerpiece here.

The party line has a few plates to choose from. This sweet flower shaped plate and large square garden party plate pair perfectly together. Try layering the paper products at each place setting for kids. Start with the large Garden Party Square Dinner Plate, add in a Gingham Red Dinner Napkin. Place the Garden Party Dessert Plate on top of the napkin, and then top the presentation off with a sweet Garden Party Cone Hat.

Serve the Perfect Dessert

Strawberry Poke Cakes is one of our favorite family recipes. We always end up serving it at our family parties. This recipe was a perfect dessert to make for this party with its fresh strawberries! I love how the cake looks served on the Garden Party Dessert Plates. How fun is that bright Red Gingham Napkin with the pretty strawberry cake! For the complete recipe make sure to stop here.

Fresh Party Favors

Kids love having a little treat or treasure to take home from a party. Add sweet garden goodies to Berry Baskets lined with a Red Gingham Napkin. I then added Garden party favor boxes, Fruit Stress Toys, Vegetable Stress Toys, Garden Fresh Veggies Candy, and a pack of flower seeds to each Berry Basket.

Paper Tulip Kids' Craft

Paper tulips are so fun to make and fit in perfectly with our party theme! Kids will love making these tulips with a fun twist! Let kids use their creativity to plant colorful tulips in a mini white pot then decorate each pot with Garden Foam Stickers. Green striped paper straws make for a perfect flower stem. Kids will be so excited to take their mini pot of tulips home to show their families!
