Little ones will love creating an adorable Valentine “Lovebug” Headband and wearing it at a class or family Valentine party. Using our free printable headband template, cut 2 strips out of pink foam sheets. Add foam heart stickers around the band. Using pink, white and red chenille stems, create two bug antennae. Add glitter heart shapes with glue to the top of each chenille stem. Staple or glue the headband strips together using each child’s head to measure. This lovebug headband is sure to spread some LOVE this year!

Create the cutest Valentine Paper Lanterns with colored cardstock. Using the free paper lantern printable template, cut out an easy paper lantern with colored card stock. Fold the 8 ½ x 11 paper in half lengthwise. Cut the strips from the fold leaving an inch at the top. Kids will love practicing their cutting skills. Roll the paper into a lantern and staple the top and bottom together. Take a strip of the same colored cardstock and staple it to create a handle for the lantern. Add colorful hearts and flower foam shapes to each paper lantern.

A Valentine Heart Lei is a great preschool craft to create this Valentine’s Day. Little hands will love stringing the pieces together while learning fine motor skills. Cut 1-inch pieces from red and pink paper straws. Using a hole punch, punch a hole in the middle of medium sized glitter paper hearts. Lace together the hearts and straws using red baker’s twine and super safe lacing needles. Wear around your neck on Valentine’s Day!

Create adorable tiny lovebugs out of yarn pom poms! Glue red, white or pink yarn pom poms to the top of a foam heart sticker. Add mini google eyes to the front of the yarn pom poms.
