Transform an ordinary birdhouse into a sweet, smiling pineapple! Start by painting the bottom of a DIY Wood Birdhouse Craft Kit with neon paint and a foam brush. Then, paint the roof and sides with yellow acrylic paint. Once the paint dries, build the DIY Wood Birdhouse Craft Kit per the instructions, and use a hot glue gun to reinforce the panels. Next, add some bling by affixing adhesive rhinestones. Create the leaves out of lime green craft foam. Decorate the plastic glasses with mini faux flowers and draw or add wiggle eyes. We’ve seen flower crowns make a resurgence in popularity at weddings (check out this flower crown station for a bridal shower) — why not bring this fun, springy accessory to your kids with an easy felt flower crown DIY? Best for older children (your princess-obsessed elementary-age daughter, perhaps?), this craft by Meri Cherry comes together with colored felt cut into various flower shapes and held together with a glue gun. The secret to creating the crown? A chenille stem twisted to form a ring! From there, glue the flowers to it and add some ribbon accent.
