Fall is one of the most wonderful times to get married. The air is just cool enough that outdoor ceremonies and receptions can be held without tents or heat lamps. I found some of the best products for Fall and with this burlap and gold tablescape I am going to show you how to include unique items like bushel baskets and pumpkins into your wedding decor. Read on below to see how I created this burlap tablescape featuring DIY wreath place cards, a DIY burlap table number, and popcorn recipe!
To create this rustic fall wedding tablescape I used a bolt of burlap as the tablecloth. With it's rustic look the burlap sets the perfect autumn tone for the rest of the decor. I lined the center of the table with champagne shimmer fabric and gold and silver reversible foil leaf fabric. This gold leaf fabric from is perfect for Fall and when paired with the champagne fabric it is just perfection!Next I placed bushel baskets in the center of table. These add an unexpected dimension and are a unique centerpiece. I filled these baskets with the glitter maple leaf garland. The DIY decorative pumpkin set was given a bit of sparkle with some gold spray paint. I used these pumpkins to anchor the centerpiece as the gold helps the fall colors of the maple leaf garland pop.
Each place setting received a gold metallic string place mat with a white ribbed dinner plate and sweet fall dinner napkin. Each place setting also received a DIY branch place card. I created place cards using mini branch wreaths to give a rustic touch. You can get the tutorial and free printable here!
Large and small birch pillars were placed around the table while mini metallic pumpkins and gourds were scattered throughout the tablescape. These metallic pumpkins and gourds matched the gold place mats and added the perfect touch of Fall.
Every good wedding tablescape needs a unique table number. For this fall inspiration I created a unique burlap table number. This matches the tablescape perfectly and is made using the same burlap bolt as the tablecloth. You can get all of the steps for this tutorial here.
Mini kraft popcorn boxes were filled with almond white chocolate popcorn - the perfect light snack for fall wedding guests. You can get my recipe for almond white chocolate popcorn here as well as a free printable with two different popcorn tags!
