Every year Pantone selects a color of the year and for 2016 they chose Rose Quartz. This soft pastel tone is one of my favorites and a color that can easily be woven into your wedding details no matter the season or venue. We have everything you need to easily create a pretty pink, Rose Quartz tablescape. Read on below to learn how to create this feminine pink wedding design for yourself!
To create this rose quartz wedding tablescape I first draped my table with a lace print gossamer roll. I absolutely love the soft pink shade of this tablecloth, it adds the perfect pop of pattern to the table without overwhelming the other details. Each place setting was set with light pink dinner plates, ivory dessert plates, and white linen guest towels. Including a bit of cream and white in the tablescape helps make the pink details pop and keeps the decor looking bridal.
I created rose quartz gift boxes filled with champagne gummy bears as favors. The champagne gummy bears are the perfect adult treat and match the rose quartz color theme perfectly!
Candles make weddings super romantic so I chose to fill the center of the table with lots of candles. There's something so magical about the glow of candlelight. Additionally, floral centerpieces can get quite expensive so candles are a great way to save on your wedding budget. For this tablescape I varied the heights using white taper candles and mini pillar candles. I absolutely love the pop of color that the hot pink and light pink votive holders give the table.
For a unique cocktail I filled mini champagne glasses with cotton candy and a splash of champagne. The cotton candy fizzes as you pour in the champagne creating a fun signature drink. I topped the glasses with pink rock candy to match the rose quartz theme.
I created a colorful backsplash with red, white, and pink tissue paper flowers. Learn how to create this DIY tissue paper backdrop here. This is the perfect backdrop for your bar cart and can easily be transitioned into a photo booth backdrop.
