Roast and Toast Bonfire Party

Roast and Toast Bonfire Party

Gather close friends around the fire pit to roast marshmallows, toast to friendships, and create memories together at this backyard bonfire party! This small, intimate party is the perfect way to slow down, reconnect with one another and enjoy some sweet treats next to a warm fire.

To create a cozy fall vibe in our backyard I used hay bales, wooden stumps, pumpkins, plaid, and blankets. I added warmth by stringing outdoor lights around the seating area and grouping seats around the glowing fire.

I used the Collapsible Faux Hay Bale by my bar cart to create a distinctly outdoor look. I used the faux hay bale to display extra blankets and show off some of the s'mores kits.

I wanted to provide more seating than what we normally have on our patio, so to keep with the cozy, fall vibe I added a few hay bales and wooden stumps. I found the wooden stumps on the side of the road and they were perfect for this backyard party!

I filled a basket with lots of warm, plaid blankets and made sure to lay some on the hay bales so our guests would be more comfortable. Cozy Blanket Basket

When it comes to entertaining, I love to keep things simple so I can truly focus on connecting with the people I'm surrounded by. This simple DIY S'mores Bar Cart allows me to have everything handy and in one spot so guests can help themselves to treats and drinks throughout the party.

Since the focus of our little party was really about catching up with friends and enjoying the cooler weather, I kept food and drinks super simple. I created a s'mores station that displayed jars filled with marshmallows, graham crackers, and chocolate so everyone could make their own s'mores. I also filled a jar with popcorn, for a salty snack to balance out all the sweets!

S'mores Station

I used the Tiered Wood Serving Tray to display additional s'mores options like chocolate chip cookies and Reese's® because let's face it, options are always fun when you're making s'mores. Tall Galvanized Pots held marshmallows ready to go on roasting sticks, which makes it easy for guests to quickly grab what they need and get cozy around the fire.

I also filled Chipwood Baskets with all the supplies for s'mores for another grab and go option. This would also make the perfect party favor if you wanted to send your guests home with a reminder of all the fun.

S'mores Kits

2020 has been such a strange year, but it's definitely helped us appreciate the simple things in life like spending quality time with the people we love. I created a signature drink to help us toast to special friendships and used the Clear Plastic Martini Glasses to serve our delicious s'mores martinis.

I filled a basket with plaid paper goods so they were easily accessible and also included the cute insulated Buffalo Plaid Coffee cups for hot apple cider. I love how the plaid products work perfectly for this fall-inspired party!
