Rainbow Balloon Animal Party

The only thing that could make a balloon animal party better would be to cover it in confetti and rainbow colors! Creating the decorations is easy peasy too. With just a few balloon twists here and there you'll have a full zoo of animals to join the party. Rainbows and Confetti Decor Galore

Grey skies are no match for the rainbow of fun this party brings! We created a stand-out backdrop by layering strips of light pink, hot pink, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple paper streamers over a wooden dowel rod that hung from the wall with adhesive hooks. The rainbow was topped with white balloon "clouds" that were dressed up with rainbow splatter paint.

A balloon animal unicorn was created using animal modeling balloons and was attached to a big polka dotted balloon. We placed this balloon next to a confetti dotted balloon that displayed a giraffe balloon. Both received their own colorful balloon tails thanks to a bit of pink and blue ribbon and a healthy bit of paper streamers. You can find the tutorial to create the balloon animal giraffe here.

The backs of our white chairs were brightened up with colorful balloon animals created using animal modeling balloons. We simply attached them to the chairs using glue dots.

Continuing with the rainbow theme, each place setting received a different colored dessert plate which set atop square birthday dots dinner plates. We used lime green, light pink, yellow, turquoise, orange and lavender dessert plates to set each place setting apart.

Balloon animal molded cups were spray painted with colors to match our theme. To keep them food-safe we completely taped off and sealed the inside of each cup. They looked like little decor pieces themselves all lined up on the table! We used a hodge podge of assorted paper straws to further tie in with the rainbow theme.
